Always a popular event in Sedgefield is the opening of the lagoon mouth. Artificially breached by SANParks when the water level reaches a specified height of 1.86m above sea level, residents gather to watch the proceedings, ever hopeful of grabbing a fish as shoals swim into the ocean. This time the mouth was breached at 20h00 on the 13th November.
One of my favourite spots on the Garden Route, so many happy hours spent on Swartvlei Beach!
