Rock road ahead.

As the road seemingly disappears into the mountain, you feel a true sense of primal exploration. Here in the Seweweekspoort, a gravel road meandering through a canyon between Laingsburg and Calitzdorp in the Southern Cape of South Africa exposes any adventurous traveller to the dichotomy of encapsulated remoteness.

Surrounded by sedimentary rock pitched vertical and contorted by plate tectonics, you can experience the full geological extent of the Cape Fold Mountains.
