The finish of our 5 day coastal #slackpacking tour is a 9km hike punctuated with a swim at Buffalo Bay.

After three full days of #hiking, the pace of the fourth day of our 5 day #slackpacking coastal trail is more relaxed with a morning of canoeing up the #Goukamma River, lunch at our accommodation and a variable afternoon fynbos walk to match guests energy levels.

The third day of our 5 day #slackpacking coastal hike traverses the remote shoreline of the Goukamma Nature Reserve, passing some amazing fossil footprints and offers incredible sightings of African Black Oystercatchers feeding on the intertidal shelf.

The weather forecast for the second day of our 5 day #slackpacking trail was cloudy with strong westerly wind and rain from midday.
