Rolling coastal Fynbos

For the past 12 months Amanda and I have been contracted to monitor bird populations and behavior at seven sites for proposed wind farms in the western and eastern Cape as South Africa moves towards meeting their renewable energy supply.

It has taken us to some spectacular natural areas. Without a doubt the Fynbos of a site near Stillbaai is the most beautiful with the display of Proteas, Conebushes and Pincushions.
